Pansies...
Hand dyed purple .  stained glass style wall hanging .  This was a different style that I found very difficult to do.  It was supposed to be easier than regular stained glass.  I tried and it's finished..I didn't label or date it...Oh wait yes I did...on the computer and oh...that's gone gone after the crash!

Hearts and 9 patch This was a kit that I bought YEARS ago in 1995.  What looks like gray was blue and pink.  This quilt faded badly even though it is not in any sun

Raw edged and thread painted, unfinished edges...don't know if it is finished or not..I layered batting, black fabric, red hand dyed fabrid (that I dyed) .  I covered it with a pattern I made from 4 pieces of paper that I covered in two sizes of poppies.
I call this one "TOO MANY"  it's my November 11 Rememdrance Day quilt..  the edges are fairly neat yet unfinished because the wars never seem to finish, and the end of it does seam 'fairly neat'...but it's not really finished , is it.
This quilt was inspired by a cover of Zoomer magazine..it was a stained glass window of poppies.

no title for this little table topper.  paper pieced in a workshop with Shirley Stutz, through Halton as a guest of Hamilton quilters guild..20 inches in size.  I went to Greensville on Thanksgiving for the workshop.  It was hot..hot...hot..and even hotter with all the irons going and only one lonely fan!  I had a great time.

Trip around the world
I made this in 2004.
I  started off with 1 inch squares.
I had been cutting squares for years.  Actually worn a few marks on my cutting board doing it.  When I thought I had enough squares I started this quilt.  Well guess what...I didn't have enough of any one colour!  I had to cut all the squares for this.
I used a gridded fusable interfacing, pressed all my fabrics following the grid, then sewed up the rows.  A friend's hubby thought I was so good because everything was precise! LOL...it was one of the easiest quilts to make.
It was very stiff from the interfacing, but once I washed it, it because quite soft

I am starting this blog because I can't seem to upload to Pinterest. Funny thing is, I can upload here and then upload to Pinerest...
My computer crashed and I lost ALL my pics of my grandkids...all my embroidery files I'd saved, all my stuff from quild that I use for membership...and all my machine quilting designs..and files, contacts.  Things that will take me a while to realise.(slap to the forehead) crap! that's gone too!
The mister says ( he lost everything of his too) we are getting a backup drive, and maybe a new computer.

So, if you happen across this blog, you are welcome to browse.  I plan on trying to find all the pics of quilts that I have and putting them here with a small description.

snowball- charity quilt
Snowball quilt...made for Halton quilters guild.  the kit was made up ..all I had to do was assemble....I started with the snowball block, then made the 9 patch...only to discover the snowball was oversized....I recut them, attached the border using a techinque Susan showed me at a workshop.
