Rose window

A rose window is usually in a church..sometimes it's stained glass, sometimes not.
I starting making this for my mother when she went into a nursing home.  I barely got started..only had 2 or 3 of those half circles sewn on by hand when she died.  So she never saw it.
I got the pattern from a library book by Angela Besley.  A quarter pattern was given, it need to be enlarged and you were to move your fabric to capture the other 3 sides.  It was just a smidge bigger than my light box, but I was able to make do.  If I make a similar wall hanging again I would make the whole pattern and I would use that pattern for my applique shapes.  Trying to enlargeand match the size of the two pictures in the book was difficult.  If I had of just used the pattern, it would have been quicker and easier.
Only 6 fabrics were used.
